New Showroom Location and Amenities
Tesla has established its second showroom in India. It is in Aerocity, Worldmark 2, Delhi. The showroom occupies approximately 8,200 square feet of space. The premises are near the airport, embassies, and corporate headquarters. Tesla anticipates it will have more customers visit this place.
Installation of V4 Superchargers
Tesla has placed four V4 Superchargers in the basement car park of the showroom. The company is to add more V4 Superchargers in other showrooms like Saket, Noida, and Origin. Tesla's first showroom in India is in Mumbai. Tesla recently opened its first Supercharger station. The network of charging stations will reach eight cities, including Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur.
Charging Details and Costs
The V4 Supercharger is DC fast charging supported. The price for DC charging is Rs. 24 per kilowatt. The price for AC charging at 11 kWh speed is Rs. 11 per kilowatt. The Tesla Model Y can be charged in 15 minutes using the V4 Supercharger. On charging, it can go up to 267 kilometers.
Tesla Model Y Availability and Pricing
The Model Y comes with two variants in India. The RWD model begins at Rs. 59.89 lakh. The Long Range model is priced at Rs. 67.89 lakh. On one full charge, the Model Y drives 500 to 600 kilometers.
