Fans Come to Greet Young Cricketer

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old cricketer who made headlines in the IPL, has fans in India and England as well. Two such fans traveled for six hours to meet him in Worcester, England, where he plays for the India Under-19 team.

The fans, Riva and Ananya, encountered travel issues but went to the extent of getting a photograph with Vaibhav. They supported in pink jerseys. Rajasthan Royals posted this news on their social media.

Following the fourth ODI match with England Under-19, Vaibhav expressed that Shubman Gill encourages him to play long innings. He also revealed that he wishes to achieve a double century in future matches.

Vaibhav Breaks Youth Cricket Records

Vaibhav was the youngest and quickest player to hit a century in Under-19 ODI matches. He hit 100 runs in merely 52 balls in the fourth ODI match against England Under-19. The fastest was previously achieved by Pakistan's Kamran Ghulam, who achieved it in 53 balls in 2013.

He also became the youngest to register a century in Under-19 cricket. Nazmul Hossain Shanto of Bangladesh previously had the record at 14 years and 241 days. Vaibhav was 14 years and 100 days old when he did this.
