The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for the 2026–27 international home season.
India will host four teams:
- West Indies cricket team
- Sri Lanka national cricket team
- Zimbabwe national cricket team
- Australia national cricket team
India will compete in 22 matches which will take place in 17 different cities. The schedule includes:
- 5 Test matches
- 9 One Day Internationals (ODIs)
- 8 T20 Internationals
The season will begin on September 27, 2026, with the West Indies tour.
Matches in Hyderabad
- Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium (Uppal Stadium) will host two matches.
- The fourth T20 match against West Indies will take place on October 14 2026. The ODI match against Zimbabwe will take place on January 6 2027.
- These matches make Hyderabad an important venue in the season schedule.
West Indies Tour of India
India will compete against the West Indies in:
- 3 ODIs
- 5 T20 matches
The matches will take place in multiple cities:
- Thiruvananthapuram
- Guwahati
- Chandigarh
- Lucknow
- Ranchi
- Indore
- Bengaluru
- Sri Lanka Tour of India
India will compete against Sri Lanka from December 13 to December 27 in 2026.
The series includes:
- 3 ODIs
- 3 T20 matches
Host cities:
- Delhi
- Bengaluru
- Ahmedabad
- Rajkot
- Cuttack
- Pune
- Zimbabwe Tour of India
The ODI series against Zimbabwe will begin on January 3 2027.

Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2027
The Test series between India and Australia will start on January 21 2027.
The Border Gavaskar Trophy will feature five Test matches.
Host cities:
- Nagpur
- Chennai
- Guwahati

- Ahmedabad
Notable Exclusion
Visakhapatnam has not been included as a venue in this season. This is notable because the city has hosted several important matches in recent years.
