Free Cloud Storage for Airtel Postpaid and WiFi Customers
Bharti Airtel has introduced a new advantage for users. The telecom company has joined hands with Google to provide a free subscription of Google One cloud storage. Airtel's postpaid and WiFi customers can avail of this free offer.
Under this promotion, users will get 100 GB of cloud storage for six months. There will be no additional charge for such customers for this duration. The cloud storage can also be shared among a maximum of five other users.
How to Get the Offer and Subsequent Charges
To access the free storage, one has to log in to the Airtel Thanks app. Once the free period of six months ends, users willing to continue will have to pay ₹125 per month. The service is offered on both Android and iOS platforms.
Airtel CEO Siddharth Sharma stated that he is happy to launch this service in association with Google.
Jio Provides 50 GB Cloud Storage on Certain Plans
Jio is also providing cloud storage advantage. Users on chosen prepaid and postpaid plans receive 50 GB free storage. The advantage can be availed on recharges of ₹299 and more.
Subscribers with recharges less than ₹299 receive 5 GB for free as a trial. Cloud storage is available in plans like ₹349, ₹449, ₹649, ₹749, and ₹1549.
