Play-offs to be Conducted in Chandigarh and Ahmedabad
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed the venues of the IPL 2025 play-offs. Four games will be conducted across Chandigarh and Ahmedabad.
Chandigarh will feature:
- Qualifier 1 on May 29
- Eliminator match on May 30
Ahmedabad will feature:
- Qualifier 2 on June 1
- The final on June 3
The BCCI has provided these details in a formal statement.
Teams Qualified for Play-offs
The following teams have qualified for the play-offs so far:
- Gujarat Titans
- Royal Challengers Bangalore
- Punjab Kings
The last spot is pending. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are vying for that last spot.
RCB Match Shifted to Lucknow Due to Weather
The initial match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad was set on May 23 in Bengaluru. Because of the rain prediction, the match was shifted to Lucknow.
RCB is also set to play against Lucknow Super Giants on May 27 in Lucknow. Since both the matches are closely placed in schedule, the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad has also been relocated to the same place.
