Comments on Peace Initiatives
Former U.S. President Donald Trump said he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for helping end conflicts in several regions. He made this statement during the Cornerstone Institute Founders' Dinner in New York. Trump claimed his policies stopped fighting in seven areas. He listed India and Pakistan, Thailand and Cambodia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Kosovo and Serbia, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, and Rwanda and Congo.
Trump explained that almost 60 percent of his peace work was connected to trade deals. He argued his administration signed agreements and reduced tensions in ways not seen before. He also said many people told him that ending the Russia-Ukraine war would guarantee him the Nobel Peace Prize. Trump suggested his relationship with Vladimir Putin could have influenced the situation but admitted the conflict was more complex than expected.
Call for Justice
Trump also demanded legal action against his political opponents. On his Truth Social account, he wrote that justice must be served after his impeachments and indictments. He called directly on Attorney General Pam Bondi to act immediately.
Reports say Trump’s comments targeted former FBI Director James Comey, Senator Adam Schiff, and New York Attorney General Letitia James. His post spread quickly online, with many users claiming he was sending a strong and direct message.
Praise for Officials
In another post, Trump praised Pam Bondi’s work as Attorney General. At the same time, he said he wanted a prosecutor like Lindsay Halligan from Virginia to back his policies. He announced plans to nominate Halligan as U.S. Attorney, claiming she would ensure equal justice for all.
