Prashant Kishor Decides Not To Contest Bihar Assembly Elections

PK Confirms Not Contesting the Election Arena

Jana Suraj Party chief Prashant Kishor has confirmed that he will not contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. In a conversation with PTI, Kishor expressed that he will focus on the campaign and organizational work for his party instead of contesting the election.

He said that this decision was made in the interest of the party. The Jana Suraj Party also fielded another candidate to contest against Tejashwi Yadav from the Raghopur constituency. According to Kishor, his personal engagement may detract his attention from the overall strategy and management of the party.

Kishor's Remarks on Nitish Kumar and Bihar Politics

Prashant Kishor also had his say on the political situation in Bihar. He stated that JD(U) and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will not surpass 25 seats in the upcoming elections. Kishor predicted that the NDA alliance will lose their hold and further stated that Nitish Kumar will not take office again as Chief Minister.

He also indicated that the INDIA coalition, which is Congress and RJD, has internal differences that may affect its performance in elections.

Party's Future Plans and Election Dates

Kishor promised that if his Jana Suraj Party gets into office, it will be an anti-corruption and anti-gangster government. He said that his government will identify 100 corrupt leaders and officials in a month of being in office and file cases against them.

Bihar Assembly elections will be conducted on November 6 and 11, and the counting of votes will be done on November 14.
