Bhagwat Says Pakistan Should Be Responded To Firmly

India Should Reply in a Way Pakistan Understands

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that India should give a strong and clear response to Pakistan. He went on to explain how Pakistan would truly benefit from cooperation and friendship with India. Bhagwat was speaking at a program in Bengaluru marking 100 years of the RSS.

He said that India should continue defeating Pakistan in every attempt it tries to harm India. According to him, repeated failures will make Pakistan realize the mistakes it has made. Bhagwat emphasized that India always prefers peace, but Pakistan's actions often disturb that peace. He added that Pakistan has never succeeded whenever it tried to violate peace.

Referring to the past, Bhagwat said that in the 1971 war, Pakistan lost about 90,000 soldiers. Such outcomes, he said, should make Pakistan understand that it cannot harm India. He urged that India must stay prepared for Pakistan's conspiracies and always give a strong reply.

RSS does not require any official registration

Bhagwat also responded to questions related to why the RSS is not registered. He compared it with Hinduism and explained that just like Hinduism is not registered, similarly, the RSS too has no need for registration.

He also pointed out that certain state governments have designated the RSS as an unrecognized organization. He asked how such an organization could have been banned on three different occasions in the past if it were truly unrecognized.

Bhagwat traced the history of the RSS and informed the court that when the RSS was established in 1925, no registration with the British government was needed. Even after India's independence, no such requirement for the RSS was made by the Indian government. He also said that the Income Tax Department and courts have already given recognition to the RSS as an association of persons. It enjoys tax exemptions on this premise.
