White House Responds to Reports of Talks in Pakistan

- Multiple media outlets reported that United States and Iranian officials might engage in peace negotiations which would take place in Pakistan. The reports indicated that JD Vance and envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner would meet with Iranian representatives in Islamabad.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the United States has not made any decision about holding talks with Iran at this time.

Reports on Pakistan’s Role in Mediation
International reports state that Asim Munir who serves as Pakistan's Army Chief recently met with President Trump to discuss methods for conflict resolution.
