Chandrababu Naidu And Pawan Kalyan's 10-Point BC Declaration: A Roadmap For Andhra Pradesh's Future

Before the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, Telugu Desam Party chairman N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan issued a Backward Class (BC) declaration in an attempt to ameliorate the state's poorer sections.

Addressing a group of "Jayaho BCs" at Acharya Nagarjuna University in the Guntur region, Naidu offered a 10-point BC declaration aimed at promoting the advancement of impoverished areas.

One of the primary themes Naidu underlined was the promise to provide a monthly pension of Rs 4,000 to all BCs who are 50 years of age or beyond. In addition, he pledged to provide Rs 1.5 lakh crore over the next five years for the BC sub-plan.
