
Reviving a Historic School
Education Minister Nara Lokesh averred that VR High School in Nellore has a rich heritage. He reiterated the importance of making the school outstanding once again. He added that dignitaries such as former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and music director SP Balasubrahmanyam studied here. He further added that personalities such as leaders Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy had originated from this place. Minister Narayana had been attributed with endeavors to re-establish the school following its shutdown.
Inauguration of VR Model School
Lokesh inaugurated the VR Model School formally. He inspected the classrooms during his visit and verified the digital learning facility. He also went to the library and browsed through the books. Lokesh spoke to students in every classroom. He further went to the sports ground, where he played cricket and volleyball with the students.
Support for Educational Development
During the function, Lokesh appreciated Minister Narayana's personal initiative to reopen the school. Lokesh said he adopted the Nidamarru School in the constituency of Mangalagiri. He stated that success is achieved by perseverance and discipline. He told the students to overcome challenges boldly.
Experience and Responsibility
Lokesh has shared his political experience. He informed that he lost the previous election but worked tirelessly for five years. That tireless effort, he mentioned, resulted in a historic victory. He mentioned that folks raised their eyebrows about his becoming Education Minister, perceiving it as a challenging task. Lokesh mentioned that he took up the job seriously and is performing with dedication.
Improvements in Government Schools
Lokesh informed that government schools are being upgraded to the level of private schools. Upgrades include improved uniforms, modern buildings, and high-tech learning technology. He told they intend to make students competitive globally.
P4 Program Appreciation
Lokesh previously recognized Ponguru Sarani, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, and Devireddy Sudhakar Reddy for their efforts in the P4 program.
